About Me (She/Her/Hers)

Rachel Osband (she/her/hers) is an attorney and mediator with Fiddler Osband Flynn LLC. Rachel’s practice focuses on families of all shapes and sizes. Her specialties include second-parent and step-parent adoptions, donor agreements, contested foster/adoption cases, guardianship.

Rachel brings her extensive personal and professional experience working with families with neurodivergent children or parents as well as those who are impacted by mental health concerns, chemical dependency, or domestic abuse to her role as a mediator or advocate.

Rachel is an experienced trial attorney in juvenile and family courts throughout the state and is an Adoption Fellow of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA). She also serves as a court-appointed attorney for persons subject to civil commitment in Hennepin County.

In addition to her law practice, Rachel serves as an Adjunct Professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, focusing on courtroom advocacy skill building and expert witness training.

Outside of her practice, Rachel is a Board Member of Lionsgate Academy. She is a mom of two amazing boys and one adorably average dog, as well as an avid reader of novels.
