What I Know
When your family is about to change, all that matters is keeping loved ones happy and shielded from any change that might upset them. I understand how highly stressful family law issues can be. Whether you are seeking a divorce, parenting time, custody, or changes to a current Order, I will help you navigate the process with your goals in mind while seeking to reduce conflict. I offer traditional representation options as well as collaborative or cooperative divorce representation. I am also a trained, experienced mediator ready to help you resolve your family disputes and move forward with your life. Together, we can explore options available to you and create a custom plan based on your personal needs.
I know how mental health concerns and special needs can affect a separation or parenting relationship. I am skilled at working with parties where mental illness, special needs or other medical issues are part of the family picture. Allow me to give you peace of mind when you may be at your lowest point emotionally.
In addition to practicing family law, I serve as an adjunct professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, focusing on courtroom advocacy skill building. I am a proud mom of two amazing boys and one adorably average dog. I am an avid book club attendee and will welcome your recommendations!
