What I Believe – A Message From Mark C. Fiddler

I strongly believe in giving back to the community and clients who have given so much to me and my family. I have served multiple terms as trustee for the Science Museum of Minnesota and chairperson of the Indian Health Board of Minneapolis. I have served in other volunteer and board positions with the Urban Coalition, American Indian Services and the University of Minnesota’s Children, Youth & Family Consortium. I am an active member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Minneapolis. I believe in maintaining a healthy balance between work, family and personal physical and spiritual health. I am a serious cook, amateur cyclist, triathlete and spin instructor. Everything I do, I do with a passion.

I am a proud member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians. I am one of 20 Americans awarded a Kellogg Global Leadership Program fellowship, and I also received an award from the Minnesota Justice Foundation for providing legal services to the community. I am a 2013 Minnesota Attorney of the Year.

I believe that I have been called to the legal profession as a way of doing justice. I know that what I do has a lifetime impact on children and those who love and care for them. At the end of each day, I can tell my own children that I have done something worthwhile. I consider myself to be both fortunate and blessed to practice law.

What I Know – A Message From Rachel L. Osband

When your family is about to change, all that matters is keeping loved ones happy and shielded from any change that might upset them. I understand how highly stressful family law issues can be. If you are ending a marriage, I can look to reduce conflict with collaborative or cooperative divorce services, but I can also offer traditional representation. Together, we can explore options available to you and create a custom plan based on your personal needs.

I know how mental health concerns and special needs can affect a separation or parenting relationship. I am skilled at working with parties where mental illness, special needs or other medical issues are part of the family picture. Allow me to give you peace of mind when you may be at your lowest point emotionally.

In addition to practicing family law, I serve as an adjunct professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, focusing on courtroom advocacy skill building. I am a proud mom of two amazing boys and one adorably average dog. I am a member of the school PTO, an avid book club attendee and a dog and kid walker.

What I Know – A Message From Delmar V. Flynn

My passion for legal advocacy began in the service of children as their attorney and guardian ad litem. In my thirteen years of practice across Illinois and Minnesota, I have collaborated with social workers, foster parents, service providers and teachers, as well as opposing counsel, and I have advocated for my clients’ interests in court.  I understand the comprehensive approach families require for successful outcomes, with the best interest of the children at the heart of the matter. Also, one of my greatest joys professionally has always been the ability to serve Spanish speaking families in their native language.  I am a Mexican-Argentine immigrant so I love to connect with Latinx communities to give them that extra level of comfort they need in handling sensitive matters.

My husband and I have two beautiful daughters. We reside in Minneapolis with our lovable dog and pesky cat! In my free time I enjoy walks with the dog, photography, football and a good live concert. I also enjoy time at our family cabin in Cass County, Minnesota.
